Raw biogas contains multiple impurities — including solid particles, dust, mist, tar, and moisture droplets — which can severely impact the performance of downstream equipment such as scrubbers, engines, and gas analyzers.

TECTIKO’s Biogas Filtration Systems are designed to protect the entire gas purification chain by removing particulates and entrained liquids from the biogas stream. These filters ensure improved efficiency, reduced maintenance, and longer service life of all biogas components.

Sediment Trap (Optional Component)

  • Removes fine sediment or sludge that may be carried in gas
  • Often used after gravel filter or in gas lines from digesters
  • Gas is swirled using a special inlet nozzle
  • Heavier solids fall to the bottom and can be manually/automatically drained
  • Spiral separation for solids
  • Available in various sizes
  • Can handle water + solid mix
