Anaerobic Digester Heating System
The Digester Coil Type Heating System is an internal heat exchanger installed inside the biogas digester to maintain the required temperature (35–55°C) for optimum anaerobic digestion.
Unlike external heat exchangers, the coil system transfers heat directly inside the digester, ensuring uniform temperature distribution, faster microbial activity, and higher biogas yield.
TECTIKO coil-type systems are fabricated using corrosion-resistant stainless steel, designed for long operational life, and engineered to prevent sediment buildup and clogging.
Key Features
- Internal heating system – no external circulation needed
- Uniform temperature distribution throughout digester
- Made from SS316 / SS304 for corrosion resistance
- Designed for 24×7 operation in harsh slurry environment
- Spiral / serpentine coil layout for maximum heat transfer
- Custom lengths and diameters based on tank size
- Compatible with hot water, glycol, or thermal oil
Working Principle
- Hot water or thermal fluid is circulated inside the coils
- Heat transfers from the coil into the slurry
- Maintains digester temperature required for microbial activity
- No direct mixing of heating medium and slurry
