Anaerobic Digester Heating  System

The Digester Coil Type Heating System is an internal heat exchanger installed inside the biogas digester to maintain the required temperature (35–55°C) for optimum anaerobic digestion.

Unlike external heat exchangers, the coil system transfers heat directly inside the digester, ensuring uniform temperature distribution, faster microbial activity, and higher biogas yield.

TECTIKO coil-type systems are fabricated using corrosion-resistant stainless steel, designed for long operational life, and engineered to prevent sediment buildup and clogging.

      Key Features

  • Internal heating system – no external circulation needed
  • Uniform temperature distribution throughout digester
  • Made from SS316 / SS304 for corrosion resistance
  • Designed for 24×7 operation in harsh slurry environment
  • Spiral / serpentine coil layout for maximum heat transfer
  • Custom lengths and diameters based on tank size
  • Compatible with hot water, glycol, or thermal oil

      Working Principle

  • Hot water or thermal fluid is circulated inside the coils
  • Heat transfers from the coil into the slurry
  • Maintains digester temperature required for microbial activity
  • No direct mixing of heating medium and slurry
