Open Flaring System
(For Safe Combustion of Excess Biogas in Open Atmosphere)
In biogas plants, situations may arise when the produced gas cannot be utilized—such as during system shutdown, excess production, or emergency bypass conditions. In these instances, flaring remains the safest and environmentally compliant method for controlled disposal of surplus biogas.
TECTIKO Open Flaring Systems are engineered for safe, controlled, and smokeless combustion of excess biogas in open atmospheric conditions, ensuring secure venting, effective methane destruction, and adherence to environmental regulations.
Working Principle:
- Excess biogas is routed to the TECTIKO open flare stack.
- Combustion takes place above the flare tip in open air.
- Methane (CH₄) is safely converted to CO₂ and water vapor, reducing greenhouse impact.
