Raw biogas produced from anaerobic digestion contains significant moisture content, which, if not removed, can lead to:

  1. Corrosion in pipelines and equipment
  2. Reduction in gas calorific value
  3. Damage to engines and scrubbers

To ensure smooth operation and high equipment life, dehumidification is a critical process before further biogas treatment or utilization.

TECTIKO’s Biogas Dehumidifier is a highly efficient gas cooling system that removes moisture by chilling the biogas and collecting the condensate in a safe, controlled manner.

Dehumidifier
  • Biogas is passed through a heat exchanger / gas chiller
  • The gas is cooled down to dew point
  • Condensate (moisture) is separated and drained
  • Dry biogas is then sent for H₂S scrubbing or combustion
